Who We Are

Automotive Driving Solutions (ADS) is an automotive event management and production company specializing in executing local and national scale events across North America.

ADS has positioned itself as a leader in the development, production and management of product launches, training curriculum and customer experience events with a turnkey approach.

Claude Poirier

Claude has developed and honed his racing talent over the last 30 years. His rich racing history includes experience in many different types of vehicles and series including open-wheel single-seaters, F 1600, Formula 2000, Formula Mazda and a historic McLaren Formula 5000 car. 

Through his extensive racing history, Claude worked closely with many racing schools gradually working alongside Automotive Manufacturers in product testing and driver training. Working with most automotive manufacturers, Claude has the ability to assess vehicle characteristics highlighting and demonstrating their capabilities. Fluent in both English and French, Claude has traveled the country representing manufacturers as the automotive driving specialist.

Claude’s sense of humour, calmness and confidence is transferable to the program design and execution. His history behind the wheel has led him to help mold ADS as one of the leading automotive event companies in the country.

Tom Stoddart

Tom brings a variety of skills and experiences to the ADS team. Coming from operating an event management business for over a decade, his logistical knowledge enables him to quickly assess situations and develop strategies to deal with problems quickly. 

Through his many years in the industry, Tom has produced OEM programs from traditional dealer Ride & Drives to one-on-one consumer testing and evaluation. He is a knowledgeable observer and applies his concepts to create interesting and challenging programs for ADS clients.

His humour, quick observations and ability to communicate vital information are key ingredients for the calm and professional delivery of programs.
